Dewayne Combs born June 24, 1984 departed this life on Friday – August 1, 2025 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 41-years old.  Dewayne was born in Chicago, Illinois and was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Johnson-Combs; grandparents, Virgil & Carolyn Combs; uncle, Randy Combs; aunt, Faye Hurt.

Dewayne was a huge U.K. fan, he was an avid follower of all their sports.  Dewayne loved socializing, he was a social butterfly and a great light to his community.  Dewayne was one of a kind, that was sent by God to  brighten the world we live in, he never saw a stranger.

Dewayne Combs leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: father, Nathaniel Johnson of Busy, KY; brothers, Tommy Campbell of Lexington, Justin Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va and Joshua Johnson of Hazard, KY; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Dewayne Combs will be held on Wednesday – August 6, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Luther Allen officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery at Beulah Lane in Busy, Kentucky.
