Donald Ray Miller born July 12, 1956 departed this life on Monday September 2, 2024 at his residence on Sixteen Mile Creek being 68-years old.  Donald Ray was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Dewey & Hazel Miller.  Donald Ray was a retired coal miner, a member of the Krypton Masonic Lodge #905, but most of all loved his family, kids and grandbaby's immensely.

Donald Ray Miller leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 49-years, Betty Miller of Sixteen Mile Creek; daughters, Jennifer Miller of Bonnyman and Michelle Asher & Gary of Lost Creek; brother, Steve Miller & Amy of Sixteen Mile Creek; seven grandchildren, Mike & Summer Asher, Chris & Andrea Asher, Dalton Asher & Brittany, Jasmine Stidham, Ethan Asher, Jackson Asher, and Kiara Asher; three great-grandchildren, Amelia, Meredith, and Adley; special friends, Bubby Combs, Wayne Patrick, and Eli Campbell; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Donald Ray Miller will be held on Thursday September 5, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites to be performed at 7:00 P.M.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 6, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. with Lyndon Barger officiating.  The Entombment will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery located at Sixteen Mile.
