Doris Jean Cagle born July 27, 1947 went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at her residence in Hazard, Kentucky with her loving family by her side. Doris was born in Martin, Tennessee the daughter of the late Fred Milburn Bradberry and the late Mattie Bell Boyd Bradberry. Other than her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her Husband, James Carl Cagle; One Daughter, Lisa Kelley; One Grandson, Jason Kelley.

Doris was a loving Mother & Grannie who lived her life for the Lord and loved her family dearly. She was a faithful member of Combs Baptist Church and a fierce prayer warrior. She lived life with unwavering faith in the Lord and is now rejoicing in heaven.

Doris Jean Cagle leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Three Sons, Tim Cagle of South Carolina, Fred Lane & Lori of Bourbonnais, IL, Michael Cagle of Hazard; Two Daughters, Melody Claussen & Michael of Hazard, Jamie Cody & Chester of Hazard; Two Sisters, Mavis and Marsha; Twenty Grandchildren, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren. A host of friends and loving church family survive.

Funeral Services for Doris Jean Cagle will be conducted on Friday January 13, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Kenny Smith officiating. The Interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Riverside Christian School at Lost Creek or Gospel Light Baptist Church.
