Doris Napier born November 16, 1931 departed this life on Tuesday – August 12, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 93-years old.  Doris was born in Yellow Creek, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Verbon Sullivan and the late Mamie Sullivan, other than her parents Doris was also preceded in death by her husband Paschal Napier; son, PJ Napier; daughter, Patricia Griffie; and a host of siblings.

Doris Napier loved to garden and plant flowers. Doris was a care giver for 20 plus years she loved taking care of others.

Doris Napier leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Phillip Napier; and two sisters, Minnie "Midge" Jones, and Judy Combs; also, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

Visitation for Doris Napier will be held on Saturday – August 16, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Danny Sorrells officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Jeff, Kentucky.
