Earnest Eugene Campbell born October 21, 1945 departed this life on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at the U.K. Medical Center being 79-years old.  Earnest was born in Dice, Kentucky the son of the late Wayne Campbell and the late Pearolee Combs Campbell.  Other than his parents, Earnest was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Campbell; son, Timothy Campbell; brothers, Gabe, Austin, and Wayne, Jr. Campbell; sisters, Wanda Stanton and Gora Bell Campbell.

Earnest Eugene Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: son, Bryan Campbell & Tabitha of Dice, KY; brother, Ova Campbell & Jeannie of Beaver Creek, OH; sister, Doris Wegner & Paul of Dice, KY; sister, Josephine Kemper & Don of Flatwoods, KY; brother, J.D. Campbell & Linda of Richmond, KY; brother, Curtis Campbell & Maria of Lotts Creek, KY; sister-in-law, Jerry Campbell-Whitaker of Lothair, KY; his dog Ruffles whom he loved dearly, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Earnest Eugene Campbell will be conducted on Sunday February 23, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Paul Wegner officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery located at Dice, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday February 22, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
