Edgar Steven Napier born December 30, 1971 departed this life on Sunday May 28, 2023 at his residence in Hazard being 51-years old. Edgar was born in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Bobby Napier and the late Shirley Banks Napier. Other than his Parents, Edgar was also preceded in death by One Brother, Timothy Napier; One Sister, Cheryl Napier Baker. Edgar was a Musician and loving playing the drums, was an avid U.K. Basketball and Football Fan and loved his Children.

Edgar Steven Napier leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Companion, Tonya Sword of Clayhole, KY; Son, Steven Napier of Elizabethtown, KY; Daughter, Madison Napier of Elizabethtown, KY;  Brother, Boyd Napier & Krista Stacy Napier of Hazard; Sister, Barbara Combs & Samuel of Happy; A host of other relatives and friends survive.

A Celebration of Life for Edgar Steven Napier will be conducted on Thursday June 1, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Steven Haddix officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 till 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations towards the funeral expenses.
