Edith Gilley Robinson born June 14, 1924 departed this life on Monday September 5, 2022 at her residence in Taylor, Michigan being 98-years old. Edith was born at Premium, Kentucky the daughter of the late Boyd Gilley and the late Allie Frazier Gilley. Other than her parents, Edith was also preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Eugene Robinson; Three Brothers, Troy Gilley, Vincent Gilley, and Boyd Gilley. Edith was a Member of the Lothair Baptist Church and loved quilting, reading, and working puzzles, the more pieces in a puzzle the better the challenge and loved animals, especially cats.

Edith Gilley Robinson leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Daughter, Brenda Dotson & Billy of Taylor, MI; Brother, James Astor Gilley & Julia of Bonnyman. Eight Grandchildren, Six Great-Grandchildren and Five Great-Great Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services for Edith Gilley Robinson will be conducted on Saturday September 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with John Morris and Bruce Gilley officiating. The Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4:00 till 9:00 P.M.
