Edward "Silver Dollar" Mullins born April 12, 1949 departed this life on Friday May 3, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 75-years old.  Edward was born in Chavies, Kentucky the son of the late Wise Mullins and the late Doshia Collins Mullins.  Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton Mullins and George Mullins; two sisters, Carlee Mullins and Jessie Faye Collins.  Silver Dollar loved trucking, he made many friends through the years doing so.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, classic muscle cars, horseback riding, and he cherished his time hanging out with his friends at the Chavies Food Mart.  Edward was a proud Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

Edward "Silver Dollar" Mullins leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Brenda Jean Mullins of Chavies; son, Stephen Mullins & Missy Kay of Viper; daughters, Lyndsey Hamblin & Adam of East Bernstadt and Margorie Buckhault & Jesse of Alabama; brother, Jasper, Jr. Mullins & Liz of Chavies; Grandchildren, Hannah Marie Mullins, Jessica Griffith, and Shane Griffith; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends survive.

Visitation for Edward "Silver Dollar" Mullins will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Bridges officiating.  Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
