Edward Ray Gibson born August 19, 1960 departed this life on Friday July 28, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 62-years old. Edward was born in Busy, Kentucky the son of the late Raymond Gibson and the late Mahalia Napier Gibson. Other than his parents, Edward was also preceded in death by One Sister, Virginia Campbell.

Edward Ray Gibson leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Sons, Billy Gibson of Little Leatherwood and Eddie Darrell Gibson of Little Leatherwood; Brothers, Jimmy Darrell Gibson of Hyden, KY, Billy Joe Campbell & Leona of Hazard; One Sister, Mary Hoskins & Charles of IN. A host of nieces and nephews survive.

A Memorial Service for Edward Ray Gibson will be conducted on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Feltner officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbell Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.
