Ella Joan Coots-Arms born March 15, 1950 departed this life on Tuesday – June 10, 2025 at the Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky being 75-years old.  Ella was born in Harlan County the daughter of the late Boyd Coots and the late Martha Riley Coots.   Other than her parents, Ella was also preceded in death by brother, Terry Lynn Coots; sister, Brenda Carol Coots.  Ella enjoyed gardening, canning, and quilting.

Ella Joan Coots-Arms leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: two sisters, Hallie Sue Huff of Emmalena and Iva Mack Herald of Vicco; daughter, Janice Faye Kilburn of Hazard; grandchildren, Courtney Creech, Aleha Creech, Brylan Creech, Ayden Creech, and Melinda Ward; special friend, James Conley; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday – June 14, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday – June 14, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Avawam Cemetery located at Avawam, Kentucky.
