Emily Rose Herald born August 30, 2001 departed this life on Tuesday – May 6, 2025 at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital being 23-years old.  Emily was born in Lexington, Kentucky the daughter of LeeAnn Herald and the late Willis Herald.  Other than her father, Emily was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ervin & Ruby Herald; grandmother, Barbara Thomas; aunt, Abbey Herald and uncle, Gilbert Herald.

Emily enjoyed riding four wheelers, crafts, lego's, playstation, video games and horror movies.  Emily loved animals, especially her dogs D.J., Max, and Ruby.  Emily was fond of her music and loved songwriting, recently meeting John Legend.  Emily enjoyed going to the Lake, was always a prankster and full of life, and especially enjoyed flipping people off in her own funny way.

Emily Rose Herald leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: mother, LeeAnn Herald of Combs; four sisters, Asia Herald & Paul, Shawna Herald, Carly Herald, and Katie Herald all of Combs, KY; brother, Rylan Herald of Combs, KY; nephew, Gage Miller of Combs, KY; special friends, Kristin & Theo Worthen of Crestwood, KY; special life-long friends, Shelly Gamble and Alexa Newsome both of Hazard, KY; special cousin, Mikka Kilburn of Combs, KY; special nurse, Faith of Cincinnati; also a host of many other relatives & friends survive.,

Visitation will be held on Monday – May 12, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will be held on Monday – May 12, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merill David Collins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards funeral expenses
