Eric Scott Sturgill born July 29, 2002 departed this life on Monday September 19, 2022 being 20-years old.  Eric was born in Hazard, Kentucky to Jeffery Scott Sturgill and Debra Lynn Turner.  Eric was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Raleigh Sturgill and Maternal Grandfather, Lee Turner.  Eric enjoyed camping, four wheeling, dirt bike riding, being outdoors and being with his friends.

Eric Scott Sturgill leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Father, Jeff Sturgill & Angela of Mulberry Grove, Illinois; Mother, Debra Fouts of Wooton, KY; Sister, Alley Mitchell & Justin of Wooton, KY; Brothers, Wyatt Sturgill of Mulberry Grove, Illinois and Jesse Sturgill of Mulberry Grove, Illinois; Paternal Grandmother, Beulah Mae Sturgill of Delphia, KY; Maternal Grandmother, Imogene Turner of Wooton, KY; Nephew, Myles Mitchell; Niece, Kyra Mitchell; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

There will be visitation on Thursday September 22, 2022 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.  with funeral services following at 7:30 P.M. with Don Kilburn officiating.  Visitation will also be on Friday September 23, 2022 at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church at Delphia, Kentucky from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Eddie Williams officiating.  The Burial will follow in the Stoney Fork Cemetery located at Delphia, Kentucky.
