Ernest Finley born July 23, 1927 departed this life on Wednesday November 23, 2022 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center in Hyden, Kentucky being 95-years old. Ernest was born in Bear Branch, Kentucky the son of the late George Finley and the late Lily Finley. Other than his parents, Ernest was also preceded in death by his Wife, Marie Finley; Three Brothers, Charles, Paul, and Carl; Two Sisters, Beulah Mosley and Gracie Horton. Ernest loved his dog dearly.

Ernest Finley leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Brother, James Finley of Tampa, FL; Niece, Sandy Napier & Joe of Hyden, KY; Nephew, Paul David Finley of London, KY. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Ernest Finley will be conducted on Tuesday November 29, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Logan Wayne Bowling officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens located in Hazard, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M.
