Ethel Engle Stamper born December 6, 1927 departed this life on Monday October 17, 2022 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 94-years old.  Ethel was born in Perry County to the late Bill Engle and the late Surilda Jones Engle.  Other than her parents, Ethel was also preceded in death by her Husband, William Stamper, Sr.; Son, William Byrd Stamper; Five Brothers, Roscoe Engle, Jess Engle, Sam Engle, Shelby Engle and William French Engle; Five Sisters, Elmo York, Nora Stacy, Nancy Smith, Faye Walker, and Rachael Noble.

Ethel had retired from General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky after 18 years of service, was an avid reader, gardener, and loved working in her flowers.  Ethel loved cooking for her family and friends, was a health and exercise fanatic, and never ever dreamed of retiring from her work.

Daughter-In-Law: Shirley Money Stamper of Dwarf, KY

Brother-In-Law: Sherman Walker, Jr. "Popeye" of Shepherdsville, KY

Nieces: Linda, Rita, Evelyn, Elaine, Brenda, Patty, Joan, Shirley, Lillian, and Norma Clarire

Nephews: Hershell, Sonny, Sammy, William, Lenny, Bobby, and Ronnie

Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Ethel Engle Stamper will be conducted on Saturday October 22, 2022 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday October 23, 2022 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with B.J. Campbell officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Stamper Family Cemetery located at Dwarf, Kentucky.
