Eva Jean Fraley born April 22, 1942 departed this life on Thursday – January 8, 2026 at her residence in Hazard, Kentucky being 83-years old.  Eva was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late J.E. Moore and the late Polly Feltner Moore.  Other than her parents, Eva was also preceded in death by her Husband, William General Fraley; Son, Terry Douglas Fraley; Grandson, Jordan Fraley; also a host of Brothers & Sisters.

Eva worked at Lee's Famous Recipe in Hazard for 16-years, where she got to do one of the things she enjoyed the most in cooking.  Along with cooking, Eva enjoyed quilting and her cat, with whom she found companionship.  Eva adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was a devout Christian and was a member of the 11th Hour Worship Center in Hazard.

Eva Jean Fraley leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Son: Ricky Fraley & Teresa of Hazard; Daughter: Hope Bolen & Doug of Leburn, KY; Brother: Beni Moore of Hazard; Sisters: Zola Kern & Edward of Pittsburg, PA and Modeane Begley of Oak Ridge, TN; Grandchildren: Grant Fraley & Keshia of Mt. Sterling, KY, Ryan Bolen & Tiffany of Morehead, KY, Katie Fraley of Hazard, Rebecca Fraley of Owingsville, KY and Connor Fraley of Mt. Sterling, KY; Great-Grandchildren: Kolesyn, Ava, Easton, Graham, Finn, and Baylor; Furbaby, Kash; also a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Eva Jean Fraley will be held on Sunday – January 11, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday – January 12, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Terry Joseph & Grant Fraley officiating.
