Evelyn Hensley born January 29, 1941, passed away at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky on Tuesday – March 3, 2026, being 85 years old. Evelyn was born in Hazard, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Rev. Bill Bailey and the late Hazel Bailey. Other than her parents Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Bige Hensley; one son, Wesley Dean Hensley; two daughters Sherry Lynn Hensley, and Deborah Hoffman; six brothers; one sister.

Evelyn leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sons, Harrison Bige Hensley, Timothy Hensley; daughters, Sonya Fox, Tammy Hesley; one brother; five sisters; also a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

Graveside Service for Evelyn Hensley will be held on Sunday March 8, 2026 at the Bailey Fugate Cemetery in Trace Branch at 2:00 P.M. with Joe Engle officiating.
