Frank Moore Jr.

Frank Moore Jr., born July 16, 1953, departed this life on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 73 years old. Frank spent the majority of his life as a brick mason. He enjoyed playing banjo and listening to music. Frank was the son of the late Frank Moore and the late Diana Moore of Bonnyman, KY. Other than his parents, Frank was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Moore.

Frank leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: His only daughter, Frances (Greg) Moore; two granddaughters, Rebecca (Jimmy) Baker of Bonnyman, Kentucky, and Christy (Josh) Banks of Vicco, Kentucky; grandson, Malaki Lewis of Big Creek, Kentucky; six great-grandchildren, Gabriel Banks, Kearstyn Banks, Tayah Collins, Aaliyah Baker, Carson Baker & Presley Baker; sisters, Barbara Gollihue of Grayson, Kentucky, Linda (JD) Campbell of Richmond, Kentucky, Connie Griffie Moore of Hazard, Kentucky, Brenda Carol (Bob) Reed of Little Rock, Arkansas; special friends, Tilmon Couch & Roger Combs; and a host of nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation for Frank Moore Jr. will be held on Friday – September 25, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Friday- September 25, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Billy Banks officiating. The Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery located at Typo, Kentucky.
