Freddie Jent born March 10, 1950 departed this life on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at his residence being 74 years old. Freddie was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Mckinley Jent and the late Alice Combs Jent. Other than his parents, Freddie was also preceded in death by his nephew, Elvis Wayne Bowling; sisters, Edith Bowling, Rachel Wooton and Mabel Jent; one brother, Bill Jent; brother-in-law, Lloyd Bowling. Freddie loved his great nephews dearly and enjoyed being around them.

Freddie Jent leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: great niece, Juanita Stidham & Matthew of Vicco; nieces, Brenda Adams of Hazard, Sharon & Marshall Eldridge of Viper, Tammy & James Oliver of London, KY, Tammy Elliott & Damon of Scuddy, Carol & Albert Smith of Scuddy, Darlene Jent of Frankfort, KY, Debbie Manis of Isom, KY, Pamela & James Huff of Hazard; nephews, Ray Bowling of Vicco, Ricky Wooton of Scuddy, Bugsy Wooton of Scuddy, Elvis Jent of Fork Branch, Brandon Williams & Barb of Vicco, Clarence Combs of Vicco, Jamie & Tracy Bowling of Isom, KY; one brother, Jimmy & Katherine Jent of Fork Branch; special friend, Juanita Pridemore. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Freddie Jent will be held on Saturday October 19, 2024 at the Kodak Church of the True and Living God after 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday October 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kodak Church of the True and Living God with Randy Gwin officiating. The Interment will follow in the Jent Cemetery located at Vicco, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made towards the funeral expenses.
