Geneva "Nip" Oliver born October 19, 1938 departed this life on Thursday September 19, 2024 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 85-years old. Geneva was born in Confluence, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sam Colwell and the late Fannie Howard Colwell. Other than her parents, Geneva was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Campbell; sisters, Nellie Barrett and Eula Jean Brewer; son-in-law, Ray Price; one great-grandchild. Geneva loved taking care of her grandchildren, being a caregiver, sewing, quilting and was an avid animal lover.

Geneva "Nip" Oliver leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, John Jesse Campbell & Jane of Dayton, OH; daughters, Tammy K. Walker & Troy Lee of Walker Branch, Pamela Gail Price of Lothair, Kimberly Renee Adams & Jerry Lee of Viper; brothers, E.J. Colwell & Nadine of Krypton, Timothy Wayne Colwell & Sue of Austin, IN; sisters, Willa Blanton & John of Austin, IN, Edna Faye Emly & Hubert of Crothersville, IN; grandchildren, Amanda, Renee, Randall, Leslie, Jessica, Rochelle, Cassandra, Evan, Connor and Oaklee. A host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren  survive.

Visitation for Geneva "Nip" Oliver will be conducted on Monday September 24, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. with Billy Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in the Hickory Gap Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.
