George Walker Holder born October 17, 1949 went Home to be with the Lord on Monday April 24, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 73-years old. George was born in Otisco, Indiana the son of the late Stephen Noble Holder and the late Evelyn Brindle Holder. George was a Member of the Rogers Branch Church of Christ and enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandson.

George Walker Holder leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 46-years, Shirley Holder of Viper; Daughter, Georgetta Brown of Viper; Brother, William Holder of IN; Sister-In-Laws, Fern Collins, Patsy Cornett, Shirley Jean Cornett, and Barbara Holder; Brother-In-Law, Alfred "Cookie" Collins; Grandchildren, Kirstein Bowen & Gavin, Mikila Brown; Great-Grandson, Kolson Ryver Bowen. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends survive.

Funeral Services for George Walker Holder will be conducted on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Karl Baker officiating. The Interment will follow in the Henry Cornett Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 till 12:00 P.M. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
