Gilbert Bruce Strunk "Pro Daddy" born December 1, 1956 departed this life on Thursday – March 20, 2025 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 68-years old.  Gilbert was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Eugene Strunk and the late Corena Napier.  Other than his parents, Gilbert was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Strunk; brother-in-law, Dennis Walker; nephew, Mark Denny Hassakis.

Gilbert was a U.S. Navy Veteran and former Bulldozer Operator for many years.  Gilbert loved Kentucky Basketball and his vintage T-Shirts, he always had a smile and loved to joke around with family & friends.

Gilbert Bruce Strunk leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: companion, Debbie Magaleen Davidson of Viper, Kentucky; step-sons, Josh Bargo of Portland, Oregon and Justin Bargo of Chesterfield, Missouri; sisters, Janet Hassakis & Mark of Falls Church, Virginia and Jean Walker of The Woodlands, Texas; nieces, Laura Vance & David of The Woodlands, Texas and Hallie Hassakis & Larry Henderson of Washington, D.C.; step-grandchildren, Levi Bargo & Arya Bargo of Chesterfield, Missouri; great-unlce, Landry Vance of The Woodlands, Texas; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

A Memorial Service will be conducted for Gilbert Bruce Strunk on Saturday – March 29, 2025 at the Petrey Memorial Baptist Church at 7:30 P.M. with Sam Stacy & Douglas Martin officiating.  The Visitation will be at the Petrey Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday from 5:00 – 7:30 P.M.
