Gladys Marie Couch born July 10, 1944 departed this life on Monday – April 21, 2025 at the U.K. Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 80-years old.  Gladys was born in Typo, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harrison Campbell and the late Elizabeth Jackson Campbell.  Other than her parents, Gladys was also preceded in death by her husband, Alan Couch; three brothers, Tinsley, Harrison, Jr. and Morgan; six sisters, Hazel, Martha, Mae, Ollie, Rhoda, and Merseria.  Gladys was a member of the Pentecostal Church of the First Born at Dunraven where she served as Assistant Pastor.  Gladys enjoyed drawing, painting, sewing and doing alterations.  Gladys loved going to church and worshiping her Lord & Savior, and had been preaching for over 60-years.

Gladys Marie Couch leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sons, David Couch of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Denver Couch & Melissa of Bonnyman and Darren Couch of Bonnyman, KY; daughter, Tina M. Osborne & Danny of Bonnyman, KY; six grandchildren, Aaron Scott Couch, Alex Dean Couch, Kayla Fugate, Allison Couch, Lisa McIntosh, and Emma Grace Couch; 7-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Gladys Marie Couch will be conducted on Thursday – April 24, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  The Funeral Service will be on Friday – April 25, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Denver Couch officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Alan Couch Cemetery located at Bonnyman, Kentucky.
