Glenn Combs born August 4, 1940 departed this life on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 84 years old. Glenn was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Adam Combs and the late Lillian Patrick. Other than his parents, Glenn was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Combs; brother, E.J. Combs; sister, Darlene Davis. Glenn was a United States Army Veteran, loved listening to the radio and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glenn Combs leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: son, Tony Combs of Rowdy; daughter, Sharon Hall of Rowdy; sisters, Joyce Jones of Corbin, KY, Janice Phillips of Corbin, KY, Phyllis Philpot & Vernon of Barbourville, KY, Vickie Rodriguez of Corbin, KY, Cena Feltner & Albert of Hazard; grandchildren, Tiffany Tricker & Ricky, Christopher Hall, Tyler Combs and Hannah Cook; great-grandchildren, Miss Addie, Jaxon, Kasen and Kambrie. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Glenn Combs will be conducted on Friday August 16, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastors Anthony Mullins and Teddy Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery located at Rowdy, Kentucky. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
