Harold Dean Sumner born July 10, 1965 departed this life on Monday– June 30, 2025 at Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 59-years old.  Harold was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of late Howard Sumner Jr. and the late Garnett Faye McDaniel Ray. Other than his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by his, sisters, Kathleen Pugh, Geraldine Sumner; brothers-in-law, Greg Pugh, Adam Combs, Tim Higgins, and Wayne Meyer; niece, April Higgins.

Harold Dean Sumner  leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: sisters, Cora Combs of Sassafras, Kentucky, Dalene Higgins of Sassafras, Kentucky, Annette Meyer of Minster, Ohio; brother, Howard Sumner of Hazard Kentucky, nieces, Jamie Caudill( Jimmy), Sarah Pugh, Karen Amburgey( Jerry),  Angelea, Katie, and Denise; nephews, Greg Pugh( Darrian), Anthony Meyer; special friend, Calvin Danny Mitchell; also a host of great nieces and nephews survive.
