Helen Marie Chaney born September 30, 1929 departed this life on Tuesday December 27, 2022 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 93-years old.  Helen was born at Wendover, Kentucky the daughter of the late Kermit Morgan and the late Cordelia Cornett Morgan.  Other than her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by her Husband, John Chaney; Brother, Clayton Morgan and his wife Sarah Ellen Morgan, and 4-Great Grandchildren.  Helen enjoyed doing word search puzzles, reading, watching game shows, and being surrounded by her family.

Helen Marie Chaney leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Four Sons, Orbin Chaney & Vickie of Ary, Tony Chaney of Ary, Pearl Chaney of Ary, and Mike Chaney & Shelle of South Carolina; Four Daughters, Elaine Chaney & Bill of Somerset, KY, Nella Brock & Kermit of Annville, KY, Patty Chaney of Ary, and Glenna Chaney of Ary; 14-Grandchildren, Orbin Chaney, Jr., Crystal Deaton & Curtis, John Owens & Christy, Melissa Woolum & Keith, Toni Becker, Timothy Chaney & April, Mike Chaney & Nikki, Kevin Chaney & Tara, Brian Chaney & Edwina, Christopher Chaney, Kaitlyn Chaney, Mick Blu Chaney, Ryan Brock, and Carla Brock; 18-Great Grandchildren, also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Helen Marie Chaney will be conducted on Thursday December 29, 2022 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  The Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday December 30, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with A.T. Hays officiating.  The Interment will follow in the John & Helen Chaney Cemetery located at Ary, Kentucky.
