Herman Eugene Back born August 26, 1967 departed this life on Wednesday October 9, 2024 at his residence in Cornettsville, Kentucky being 57 years old. Herman was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Jesse Cleven Back and the late Ora Bush Back. Other than his parents, Herman was also preceded in death by his children, Brandon back and Brandi Back; siblings, Dovie Madsen, Irene Cornett, Thelma Brown and Cecil Lee Back; baby, Jamie Brown; nephew, Darrick Madsen; great-nephew, Gage Asher; three angel babies that was nieces and nephews; brother-in-laws, Darrell Couch and Buddy Cornett. Herman loved deer hunting, fishing and motorcycles but he loved his children the most of all.

Herman Eugene Back leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: sons, Jesse Back of Viper, Milo Back of Cornettsville; daughters, Ora Back of Cornettsville, Ashley Back of VA, Katie Burgett of Viper; sisters, Joyce Shepherd & Paul of Cornettsville, Violet Couch of Cornettsville; grandchildren, Kiley Standafer, Carlee Tuck and Mikey Back. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Herman Eugene Back will be held on Friday October 11, 2024 at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church after 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 12, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church with Lester Adams, Jr. (Doodle) officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Beech Fork Cemetery located at Delphia, Kentucky.
