Irene Eldridge Caudill born March 21, 1950 departed this life on Friday – July 10, 2026 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 76-years old.  Irene was born in Letcher County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Hargis Eldridge and the late Gertrude Burton Dixon.  Other than her parents, Irene was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Porter Caudill; brothers, Bob Eldridge, Billy Eldridge, Larry Eldridge and Ellis Eldridge; sisters, Helma Bloyd, Frances Carmack and Helen Maggard.

Irene Eldridge Caudill leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Terry Wayne Caudill & Pam of Viper, KY; daughter, Tanya Dorton & Robert of Hazard, KY; two brothers, Arnold Eldridge & Donna of Ohio and Edward Eldridge & Judy of Viper, KY; grandsons, Brayden Chase Engle and Cooper Wayne Caudill; also a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Irene Eldridge Caudill will be conducted on Monday – July 13, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Arnold Eldridge officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery located at Bull Creek.  The Visitation will be on Sunday evening at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
