James Keith Brashear born September 26, 1961 went Home to be with the Lord on Monday February 6, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 61-years old. James was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Beatrice Banks Brashear and Keith Brashear. Other than his Mother, James was also preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, James & Oma Banks, Paternal Grandparents, Marion C. & Virgie Brashear; Father & Mother-In-Law, Kenneth & Alice Melissa Ramsden; Sister-In-Law, Sheri Clarke; Special Cousin, Darlene Brashear Cole; Several Aunts & Uncles. James was a Member of the Lone Pine Baptist Church as well as a Retired Science Teacher from R.W. Combs where He taught 22-years. James also taught at HCTCS and worked also with Perry Promise. James loved riding his side-by-side, traveling, and doing the tape ministry at church. He loved his family and friends and had a great sense of humor, especially when he'd do Impersonations.

Memorial Services for James Keith Brashear will be conducted on Saturday February 11, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M with Travis France officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M.
