James Glenn Sizemore born January 19, 1957, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday – February 23, 2026, being 69 years old surrounded by his family. Glenn was born and raised in Leslie County. In his professional life, he worked at the Leslie County Board of Education where he dedicated 32 years as a Bus Driver and Maintenance worker.
Glenn cherished going to church, spending time with his family and grandchildren. He took great joy in being a husband, dad and grandfather. Glenn enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and riding his ATV. Glenn was a kind soul. He never met a stranger and always made everyone a friend.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Brown Sizemore and Mallie Coots Sizemore, mother-in-law, Bernice Couch Collins and brother, Chelcy Hall.
James Glenn Sizemore leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Loving & Devoted wife of 49-years: Debbie Collins Sizemore; Three Sons: Ryan Fee, Keith Sizemore & Leeanna, Mitch Sizemore & Londa, One Daughter: Brittany (Sizemore) Brock & Timothy; Father-In-Law; Edward Collins; Brother; Chuck Sizemore & Karen; Twelve Grandchildren: Wesley Slone (Montana), Patrick Blair, Nevaeh Blair, Katelyn Sizemore, Kholie Sizemore, Tyson Napier, Austin Edwards, Grace Edwards, Addilynn Edwards, Gotham Sizemore, Landon Brock, and Maddison Brock.
Glenn's warmth and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and devotion to his family will forever remain a guiding light to those left behind.
Glenn leaves behind two sisters-in-law; Carol Collins Scott & Darryl and Vickie Collins Mosley & James. one brother-in-law; Ronald Collins & Linda; special nieces and nephews; Jessica Combs & Johnathon, Melissa Horton & Todd, Ryan Sizemore & Whitney, Shane Collins & Brandi, Tony Collins & Michelle, Dylan Sizemore, Mason Scott, Devan Scott, Faye Brock & Justin, Jacob Bowling, and Katrina Boggs.
Visitation for James Glenn Sizemore will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 5:00 P.M at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church located at Asher, Kentucky. The funeral service will be on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. at the church with Logan Wayne Bowling, Johnathon Combs, Jamie Roberts, and Jerry Maggard officiating. The interment will be in the Sizemore Family Cemetery located in Hyden, Kentucky.
