Jasper, Jr. "Eight Ball" Mullins born January 29, 1946 departed this life on Friday July 5, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 78 years old. Jr. was born in Chavies, Kentucky the son of the late Wise Mullins and the late Doshia Collins Mullins. Other than his parents, Jr. was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clayton Mullins, George Mullins, Edward "Silver Dollar" Mullins, Scottie Mullins; sisters, Jessie Faye Collins, Carlee Mullins, Margie Mullins, Edna Mullins. Jr. was a United States Army Veteran and had a small engine shop and was known as Mr. Fix It due to having the ability of being able to repair just about anything. When Jr. wasn't working or repairing something, he loved to hang with his friends at Chavies B.P.

Jasper, Jr. "Eight Ball" Mullins leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 54 years, Lizzie Mullins of Chavies; son, Jamie Mullins & Tracy of Buckhorn, KY; daughter, Denise Colwell & Harvey of Chavies; grandchildren, Kyle & Brooke, Chalyn, Tyler & Jordan, Tayler and Molly; great-grandchildren, Ryker, Cambrie, Grayson and Gatlin. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Jasper, Jr. "Eight Ball" Mullins will be held on Monday July 8, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Bridges officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Collins Cemetery located at Chavies, Kentucky. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
