Jeffrey Scott Burton, 68 of Gays Creek, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday – November 4, 2026 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Jeffrey was born on December 19, 1957 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Howard Burton and the late Norma Burton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Steven Burton. He loved his family, friends, and he cherished his grandchildren dearly.

Jeffrey Scott Burton leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: loving wife of 21-years, Claudine Burton; son, Derek Roberts & Laura; three daughters, Alexis Johnson & Scotty, Jennifer Sandlin & Wesley, and Sheenah Yoder & Roman; six grandchildren: Jocelyn and Madelyn Roberts, Isaiah, Hunter, Isabella and Makenzie Johnson; as well as a host of other family & friends survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday – November 6, 2026 at the Community Harvest Church at Buckhorn, Kentucky after 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday – November 7, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Community Harvest Church at Buckhorn, Kentucky with Pastors Calvin & Carol Bowling officiating. The Interment will follow in the Smith-Stidham Cemetery at Gays Creek, Kentucky.
