Jerrylene Whitaker born November 12, 1960, departed this life on Tuesday – May 12, 2026, at the Greg & Noreen Wells being 65-years old.  Jerrylene was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Sam Neace and the late Rosa Lee Combs Neace.  Other than her parents, Jerrylene was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Campbell and two brothers, Ronnie Neace & Levi Neace.  Jerrylene enjoyed life to the fullest, she was very outgoing.  Jerrylene loved to go fishing and had worked at the Hazard A.R.H. for many years as a cook in the cafeteria.

Jerrylene Whitaker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband, John Whitaker of Hazard, KY; son, David Edward Coyle of Independence, KY; two step-daughters, Sabrina Noble of Knoxville, TN and Kristy Whitaker of Grapevine, KY; step-grandchildren, Laken Whitaker and Austin Feltner; nephew, Bryan Campbell & Tabitha of Lost Creek, KY; great-nephew, Ezra Campbell; special friends, Wendell & Glenna Bryant, Charley, David, Ryder, and Makayla;  also a host of other nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Jerrylene Whitaker will be conducted on Saturday – May 16, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Interment will follow in the Holliday Cemetery located at Ary, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M.
