Jessie Lorene Hickman Sandlin born October 12, 1979 departed this life on Friday September 22, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 43-years old.  Jessie was born in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of Kathy Hickman and the late McClellen Hickman, Jr.  Other than her father, Jessie was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Kendra Hickman; maternal grandparents, Jessie & Paul Combs; Grandmother-in-law, Alice Riley.  Jessie loved 4-wheeling, going to her girl's ballgames, but most importantly spending time with her family and friends.

Jessie Lorene Hickman Sandlin leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband, Cameron Sandlin of Buckhorn, KY; daughters, Katelyn Rose Sandlin and Emily Sue Sandlin both of Buckhorn, KY; mother, Kathy Hickman of Buckhorn, KY; special daughter, Jennifer Browning of Buckhorn, KY; brother, James Taylor Hickman & Chasity of Hazard, KY; mother-in-law, Sharon Sandlin of Buckhorn, KY; sister-in-laws, Holly Sandlin of Buckhorn, KY and Amber Roark of Tennessee; nephew, Lucas Hickman; niece, Jordan Hickman; best friend, Tracy Mullins; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Jessie Lorene Hickman Sandlin will be conducted on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Community Harvest Church at Buckhorn, Kentucky with Calvin Bowling officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Combs Family Cemetery located at Buckhorn, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Community Harvest Church on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made towards the funeral expenses.
