Jimmie Johnson born June 12, 1959 departed this life on Monday – August 10, 2026 at his residence in Viper, Kentucky being 67-years old.  Jimmie was born in Viper, Kentucky the son of the late Delbert Johnson and the late Beulah Farler Johnson.  Other than his parents, Jimmie was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Johnson and Tim Johnson; sisters, Irene Sexton and Bonnie Farler; sister-in-law, Evie Jean Johnson; father-in-law, Cash Eversole; good friend, Kerry Crutcher.  Jimmie was a partner and help run J & F Auto and Tire from 1984-2023, he loved fishing, hunting, gardening and being outdoors.  Jimmie loved his children & grandchildren dearly and always enjoyed talking to his family and friends.

Jimmie Johnson leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Judy Johnson of Big Creek, KY; son, James Delbert Johnson & Dawn of Viper, KY; daughter, Jeanette Coots & Duke of Vicco, KY; brothers, Johnny Johnson of Viper, KY and Lonnie Johnson & Nancy of Viper, KY; sister, Connie Caudill & Darrell of Viper, KY; grandchildren, William James Johnson, Juleeann Johnson, Gunner Wayne Coots; mother-in-law, Bessie Eversole; brother-in-law, friend & business partner, Hank Farler; brother-in-law, Jerry Sexton; sisters-in-law, Anita Johnson and Betty Johnson; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Jimmie Johnson will be conducted on Thursday – August 13, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Mike Hall officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
