Jimmie Pennington born July 25, 1954 went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 28, 2024 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 70 years old. Jimmie was born in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Larken Pennington and the late Hazel Fouts Pennington. Jimmie was an Antique Car Enthusiast and attended the Hyden Church of God.

Jimmie Pennington leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 48 years, Mallie Pennington of Wooton, KY; Daughter, Chasity Taylor & Cory of Wooton, KY; Brothers, Hershel Pennington & Ann of Wooton, KY, Willie Pennington of Wooton, KY; Sisters, Wilma Adams & Bill of Wooton, KY, Patricia Kilburn of Wooton, KY, Kathleen Baker & Charles of Wooton, KY; Grandchildren, Madison Williams & Blake, Tayla Lewis. A host of Special Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Jimmie Pennington will be held on Friday January 31, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will follow on Friday – January 31, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Logan Wayne Bowling and Ronnie Wells officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Bill Joseph Cemetery located in Wooton, Kentucky.
