Jimmy Darrell Johnson born September 29, 1958 departed this life on Monday – February 2, 2026 at his residence in Hazard, Kentucky being 67-years old.  Jimmy was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Johnny Johnson and the late Ora Johnson.  Other than his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by his wife and mother of children Daphne Johnson; and son, Jimmy Johnson.

Jimmy leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughters, Angie Johnson & Junior, Daphne Potter and R.G., and Helen Johnson; grandchildren, Raelynn Johnson, Skyler Johnson, Benjamin Johnson. Severus Johnson, and Chapter Potter; and a host of great grandchildren and brothers and sisters survive.

Visitation for Jimmy Johnson will be on Saturday – February 7, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday – February 7, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jessy Paul Wagers officiating.
