Jody McDaniel born April 12, 1963 departed this life on Sunday December 17, 2023 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 60-years old. Jody was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Elmer McDaniel and the late Dorothy Combs McDaniel. Other than his Parents, Jody was also preceded in death by One Brother, Victor McDaniel. Jody enjoyed U.K. basketball, being Outdoors, and had a strong love of music.

Jody McDaniel leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 23-years, Carolyn White McDaniel of Hazard; Son, Treston Edwards of Lexington, KY; God-Sons, Shane Risner of Hindman, KY, Sean Risner of Hindman, KY; Daughters, Londa Napier & Brian Sizemore of Hyden, KY, Shana Napier & Tim Killian of Hazard, Mandy Gibson & Heather of Big Creek, KY; One Brother, Mark McDaniel of Hazard; Sister, Wilma Sizemore & David of Hazard; Sister-In-Law, Anita McDaniel of Hazard; Grandchildren, Brooklyn, Tyson, Austin, Grace, Addilynn, Raydin, and Gotham. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Memorial Services for Jody McDaniel will be conducted on Thursday December 21, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Tony Sizemore officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M.
