John Joseph Combs born August 9, 1956, passed away at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky on Tuesday – March 24, 2026, being 69 years old. John was born in Hazard, Kentucky. The son of late Calaway Combs and the late Mary Combs. Other than his parents John was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Alva Combs, Jimmy Combs, and Calaway Combs Jr.

John leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughters, Tina Smith (Tony), Barbara Combs (Robert Baker), Jerri Sweet (Mike), Sammy Neace (David); one brother, Bruce Combs, one sister, Barbara Bowling; also a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

Funeral Service for John Combs will be held on Saturday- March 28, 2026 at 7:00 P.M at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Chris Fugate officiating. The visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
