Johnny Couch born May 13, 1949 departed this life on Monday February 27, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 73-years old. Johnny was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Walter Couch and the late Zola Couch. Other than his Parents, Johnny was also preceded in death by One Sister, Adeline Anders; Five Brothers, Raymond, Pearl, Walter, Jr., Billy Joe, and Eddie Couch; One Great-Grandson, Kyler Joe Campbell. Johnny was a Retired Perry County Deputy Sheriff, A United States Army Veteran having Served in Vietnam. Johnny was a Member of the Hardburly Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Hillbilly Clan, and the Hazard V.F.W.

Johnny Couch leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 33-years, Tammy Couch of Bonnyman; Son, James Walter Couch of Evarts, KY; Step-Son, Sammy Stacy; Daughters, Deonna Campbell & Chancey of Hazard, Sally Milby & Adam of Greensburg, KY; One Brother, Carter Couch & Versie of GA; Two Sisters, Bonnie Stacy & Ed of Kinfley, KY, Bessie Maxey & Joe of LA; Special Grandchildren, Beckham Couch and Fisher Couch; Seven Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren; Special Friends, Ronnie "Red" Couch, David Gayhart and Carl "Bue" Estep; Special Great-Niece, Brandy Hurt. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Johnny Couch will be conducted on Thursday March 2, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Mike Eversole and Eldon Miller officiating. The Interment will follow in the Feltner Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites at 7:00 P.M. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
