Jose L. Montero II born January 13, 1977 departed this life on Wednesday-August 27, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 48-years old.  Jose was born in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Jose L. Montero and the late Priscillia Montero.  Other than his parents, Jose also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Rivera; uncle, George Montero.

Jose L. Montero leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: girlfriend, Rose Harold; sons, Gavin, and Zachary; brothers, Alfonso Rivera, and Vince Marrero; sisters, Ivanska Velez-Rivera, Marianita Cruz, Aleyda Marrero- Rivera; also, six nieces and five nephews and other relatives survive.
