Joshua Trae Jackson born April 15, 1990 departed this life on Wednesday – June 3, 2026 being 36-years old.  Trae was born in Corbin, Kentucky the son of Leslie Long Harness and the late Michael Wayne Jackson.  Other than his father, Trae was also preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Jackson; paternal grandparents, Mike & Margie Jackson; maternal grandparents, Charles & Virginia Long; cousin, John Evans.

Trae served four years in the United States Air Force, held an Associate's Degree and was employed by Penske Logistics.  Trae was a member of the Applegrove Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting & fishing, and was also a true grill master.  Above all, Trae loved watching his kids play baseball, softball, basketball and run cross country.

Joshua Trae Jackson leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: life partner, Hollie Alcorn; three loving children, Jace Jackson, Jemma Jackson, and Jeter Jackson; mother, Leslie Harness & Randy; paternal uncle, Bo Jackson; aunts, Amy Jackson and Amanda Roark; maternal aunt, Donna Green and a host of cousins, and many other relatives & friends survive.

There will be a Graveside Service for Joshua Trae Jackson on Monday – June 22, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East in Hyden, Kentucky with Pastor Eddie Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East at Hyden, Kentucky.
