Joyce Henson born September 3, 1956 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 67 years old. Joyce was born in Manchester, Kentucky the daughter of Wilma Jean Gray and the late Richard Gray. Joyce was a Member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and was passionate about helping other women overcome obstacles in life.

Joyce Henson leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Mother, Wilma Jean Gray of Manchester, KY; Daughter, Melinda Henson of Hazard; Son, Anthony Henson & Shannon of London, KY; Sister, Joan Lee of Manchester, KY; Brothers, Stanley Gray of Manchester, KY, Hanley Gray of Manchester, KY, Jason Gray of Manchester, KY; Grandchildren, Blake Henson & Hannah, Madison Bentley & Cody, Trajon Campbell, Sarah Joe Campbell, Lindsi Campbell; Great-Grandchildren, Elijah and Beau; Special Friends, Lucy Langdon and Laura Holliday. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Joyce Henson will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 at the Big Creek Baptist Church from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Big Creek Baptist Church with Jerry Bailey and Larry Gross officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Paces Creek Cemetery located at Garrard, Kentucky.
