Ms. Joyce Ann Smith born April 19, 1945 departed this life on Saturday May 7, 2016 at the Baptist Health in Louisville, Kentucky being 71-years, 0-months, and 18-days old. Joyce was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Van Smith, Sr. and the late Myrtle Olinger Smith. Joyce was also preceded in death by her Brothers, Van Smith and Robert Smith; Sister, Margaret Hogg. Joyce was a former resident of Hazard, residing in Louisville at the time of her death. Joyce was a Member of the Town Mountain Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Gospel Chorus.

Ms. Joyce Ann Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Daughter, Virginia Bellamy & Kareem Shabazz of Louisville, KY; Grandchildren, Julian Bellamy, Fallon Bellamy, Bryan Rankin and Kayla Rankin; Four Brothers, George Smith & Mary Ruth of Natchez, Mississippi, Donold Smith & Carol of Indianapolis, IN, Samuel Smith & Helen of Indianapolis, IN and James Smith & Georgetta of Louisville, KY; Three Sisters, Ruth Hogg of Bowie, Maryland, Virginia Maniece of Erie, Pennsylvania and Monica Smith of Hazard, KY; Aunt, Zetta Olinger of Indianapolis, IN; Sister-In-Law, Audrey Smith of Lexington, KY; A host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Ms. Joyce Ann Smith will be conducted on Saturday May 21, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Town Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. John Pray officiating. The Interment will follow in the Lick Branch Cemetery at Hazard, KY. The Visitation will be at the Church on Saturday from 11-1.
