Justine Griffith Cornett born November 23, 1937 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 24, 2022 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 84-years old. Justine was born at Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bethel Griffith and the late Inis Williams Griffith. Other than her parents, Justine was also preceded in death by her Husband of 62-years, Corbin Cornett; Sisters, Charlene Combs and Ivacine Shepherd; Brothers, Billy Dean Griffith and Douglas Lee Griffith. Justine was a devoted mother and wife. She was affiliated with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Slemp, Kentucky. Justine enjoyed watching westerns and her grandchildren. She was also loved by a host of nieces and nephews.

Justine Griffith Cornett leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Two Daughters, Phyllis Asher & Jim of Slemp, Sharon Caudill & Mike of Cornettsville; Four Sisters, Josephine Campbell of Ulvah, KY, Brenda Wright & Ross of Ulvah, KY, Bobbie Jean Justice & Verlin of IN, Teresa Griffith of Hazard; Three Grandchildren, Christopher Caudill of Cornettsville, Jimmy Caudill of Knott Co., Barbara Caudill of Slemp; Eight Great-Grandchildren, Two Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Justine Griffith Cornett will be conducted on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Cornettsville, Kentucky with Eugene Baker and Jerry Lewis officiating. The Interment will follow in the Stoney Fork Cemetery located at Delphia, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday from 10:00 till 12:00 P.M.
