Karen Deaton was born January 25, 1957 departed this life on Monday- June 23, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 68-years old. Karen was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Andrew Hensley and the late Mary Hensley. Other than her Parents, Karen was also preceded in death by her son, Clarence Deaton Jr. (CJ); four sisters, Alice Faye Campbell, Reva Pinson, Connie Hensley, and June McDaniel.

Karen Deaton loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Karen Deaton leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband, Clarence Deaton; sons, Jerry Deaton(Kara),Kaleb Begley, Jacob Begley; special son, Robert Harris; brother, Jerry Hensley(Betty Ann); sisters, Velma Chaney(John), Theresa Haney(Randy), Lesa Stacy(Sam), Phyllis Tackett, Angie Burris(John) Brenda Kaye Trent(Terry); grandchildren, Brandon Deaton, Sierra Deaton, Natalie Slone(Jon), Austin Deaton(Jasmine), Alexa Bolling (Ben), Haley Coots(Logan)John David Sparkman, and Karidyn Sparkman; great grandchildren, Mckynzi Jent, Mckynli Jent, Holden Deaton, Lynix Deaton, Stetson Deaton, Ella Slone, and Brinkley Slone. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Karen Deaton will be Thursday at the Engle Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Services for Karen Deaton will be conducted on Thursday June 26, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle Bowling Funeral Home with Kenny Smith officiating.
