Kathlene Popp born July 6, 1937 departed this life on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at her residence in Hazard, Kentucky being 87-years old. Kathlene was born in Busy, Kentucky the daughter of the late Tug Baker and the late Elizabeth Williams Baker. Other than her parents, Kathlene was also preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Popp; children, Jerry Popp and Linda Popp; a host of brothers and sisters. Kathlene was a Member of the Big Creek Baptist Church.

Kathlene Popp leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sons, Raymond Popp & Sharon, Jimmy Popp, Wiley Keith Popp & Margaret, Paul Popp & Lori, Jeff Popp & Carolyn, Charlie Popp & Leann; daughter, Darlene Stacy & Piercy Mullins. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation for Kathlene Popp will be held on Thursday September 19, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday September 20, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Interment will follow in the Sookie Gap Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.
