Lance "Buttons" Hall

Lance “Buttons” Hall, age 78, of Hazard, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Born on October 23, 1947, in Hazard, Kentucky, Lance was the son of the late Sam Hall and Sadie Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ida Hall; sisters, Ailene Hall Ritchie and Carlene Fincher; brother, Carlos Gayheart.

Lance, known as “Buttons,” leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his brother, Colin Kelly Hall (Pearlie); three special nieces, Barbara Weaver, Margaret Weaver, and Brenda Harrison; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation for Lance “Buttons” Hall will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. Military Rites will be conducted prior to Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home, with Arthur Holland officiating. The Interment will follow at the Fisty Cemetery in Fisty, Kentucky.
