Rev. Larry David Caudill born April 17, 1954 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 10,, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 70-years old.  Larry was born the son of the late Hendrix Caudill and the late Joyce Fields Caudill.  Other than his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tom & Odie Fields and paternal grandparents, Robert & Rebecca Caudill.

Larry was a loving husband, who cherished all his family and friends.  Larry had been in the ministry since 1975 and pastored 22 ½ of those years, serving God faithfully to gain his heavenly reward.  Larry proudly worked at Blue Diamond Coal Company for 18 years and cherished his friendships made on the job through those years.

Rev. Larry David Caudill leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of almost 45-years, Bonnie Caudill of Viper, KY; brother, Tom Caudill & Delana of Viper, KY; nieces, Amanda Byrd & David of Raven, Virginia and Lindsey Caudill of Lexington, KY; great-nephew, Ashton Byrd; great-niece, Audra Byrd; special friend, Rev. Kenneth Byrd; also a host of cousins and other relatives and friends survive.

The Visitation for Rev. Larry David Caudill will be held on Wednesday evening at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday September 12, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Allen, Rev. Kenneth Byrd, Rev. Rodney Sulfridge, and Rev. Danny Scott officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Charlie Farler Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky.  The following will serve as pallbearers, Tom Caudill, David Byrd, Dan Dillon, Mark Cody, Doug Cody, and Bobby Adams.  Ashton Byrd will serve as honorary pallbearer.
