Larry Dean Coots born March 6, 1964 went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 15, 2024 at his residence in Combs, Kentucky being 60-years old. Larry was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Elmer Coots and the late Millie Ann Stacy. Other than his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Marie Coots; sisters, Wanda Coots Bowling and Roberta Coots; niece, Jessica Coots "Jett". Larry was a Member of the Combs Baptist Church and was a Carpenter for over 30 years.

Larry Dean Coots leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughter, Malissa Combs of Combs; brothers, Jeffery Coots & Marie of Viper, Phillip Coots & Thelma of Viper; sister, Catherine Holmes & Jackie Dale of Grapevine; brother-in-law, Jerry Bowling; sister-in-law, Sheila Stacy & Roger; grandchildren, Sara Combs and Jacob Combs. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Larry Dean Coots will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Kenny Smith officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky.
