Lewis Allen Fugate

Lewis Allen Fugate born March 7, 1970 departed this life on Wednesday – September 2, 2026 being -56 years old. Lewis was born in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of the late Roger Dale Fugate and the late Evelyn Hensley Fugate. Other than his parents, Lewis was also preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Dale Fugate.

Lewis leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Alice Fugate; sons, Jeremiah Strugill (Tosha), Dakoda Fugate, Peyton Fugate, Jordan Pratt; daughter, Haylee Osborne (Nick); brother, Chuck Fugate (Melinda); sisters, Ashley, Amber; sister-in-law, Stephanie Brown; grandchildren, Karliegh, Logan, Addison, Kaiden, Bailor, Jagger, Kyndall, Abby, Remi; nieces, Mackenzie, Morgan, Chole, Allison, Bailey; special friends, Jessica Stidham (Logan), Jalan Dean Collins; special pet, Jack Daniel Allen Fugate; also a host of aunts and uncles survive.

Funeral Services for Lewis Allen Fugate will be conducted on Monday – September 7, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Chris Fugate Officiating. The Interment will follow in the Frances Branch Cemetery in Jeff, Kentucky. The Visitation will be held at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday- September 6, 2026 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Kentucky River Animal Shelter-194 Animal Shelter Lane Hazard, Kentucky 41701.
